This is one such ghazal by the Urdu poet Nida Fazli (1938 – 2016) who was also famous as a film song lyricist as well as scriptwriter and this ghazal was featured in the film “Ahista Ahista”, (1981). Fazli talks about how it is impossible in this world to have it all, saying that nobody ever finds complete happiness in this world. Each person alone in their misery, and while they have the power of speech, it’s hard for them to find someone who understands their language.
